“It is a game of decisions. The winner made an odd one taking a bite out of my armies mustering to attack what was, at the time, the largest threat on the board festering in the fetid marshes of Australia and Siam. This stalled that battle until many rounds later after I was able to recover from a devastating trip to Madagascar along the Silk Road and down the Nile. All in all, though, he cannot be faulted, as he ended up winning AGAIN. And I simply went around, as usual, fighting whatever large armies were to be found regardless of further strategy. It would appear that this is not a winning formula...at least not since the 1990s. I must grow or risk becoming little better than a fossil of no value beyond being a historical footnote.”
