“The re-emergence of box-rolling may have unnerved me to the point of irrationality. Not a bad game though. This was a well-earned second place. No hiding out and no free rides because of percieved weakness. One difficulty was the no advance, adjacent territory reatreat rule. It really changed strategy, and I was slow to really pick up on it. One string stand in Japan was all I could muster against the blue wave, however, as Ron ended the game the way it should have ended; namely, with a massive force blasting into the Ukraine.
