I even tried to be conservative, but I could not overcome the sixes in the scorching heat of North Africa. Perhaps I should not have attacked over the Libyan desert...I should have moved through Italy and then Spain and finally across the Straits of Gibraltar. Then I could have used my superior navy instead of depending upon my malnourished, mercenary ground forces. Don't be fooled by the sixes; they all came after the game was already decided!”
