“The battle that opened my eyes. My strategy seemed to have gotten slanted by the colourful verbal injections from others. I am even sad to say that certain aspects of my strategy were provoked by the sometimes hostile environment surrounding the board that was created by some of the other points hungry players. Perhaps it was the lack of alcohol in my blood, but I saw this game though a different light. Due to my playing, and the feelings that were invoked inside of me, I am toying with the idea of... not joining the battle in October. I think purposely dropping myself from amongst the top five or so points getters in the standings would let me play a more relaxed style. Let me enjoy the game, and the drinking more. Perhaps this notion is going through my mind due to other stresses in my life right now. Perhaps not... Maybe I could come to the game, and just drink...
