“I coulda been a contender...now it is up to the Risk gods to see what place I get... If I stay I probably get at least second... Ethan get your shoes...youve got work tomorrow...”
“Early on the dominance of Red in Australia and Gold in South America emerged. Pink took on the Australian dig out unsuccessfully and Silver found no better in the North African gateway to South America but I Silver forgot to place the minimum three on that attempt. No cards. And so the course of the game was changed. What could have happened. Who will ever know. Gold prevailed but Red as an agent departed early. I only picked up cannons as cards this entire game. With the first set of three...having missed a round of obtaining a card...I charged into the Floridian wang and punched the scrotum of Central America...a fine moment indeed. And though no other sets were obtained much enjoyment was had in what would otherwise be a lacklustre performance. A stunning view in a new venue...a fine...sort of...cigar...great company...and a fine evening. More times like these must be had.”
“Welp. That happened. Again. Tried to dig out Australia but could not roll well enough to do so. It was like a different player was rolling my dice. Good defence. Terrible offence. The rolls and strategy did not mix. Incongruent is how I would describe my game in one word. I am really glad that I loaned those dice to Ron. I especially felt this way as he thoroughly kicked my ass in Australia. I think I will have to design some special loaner dice that I can give to people ever so slightly weighted to turn up ambes as to borrow a phrase from Chaucer. Then I will be more than happy to lend out dice to roll against.”
